Rachel Rabin-Yaakov, the younger sister of the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, has passed away at the age of 101. Born in Tel Aviv in 1925 to parents Rosa and Nehemiah Rabin, she was three years younger than her brother. Throughout her life, she became a notable figure associated with settlement development in the Galilee region. Beyond her family legacy, she was recognized for her significant contributions to the field of education, an achievement for which she was honored with the Rothberg Prize by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2009. Her death marks the end of a long life dedicated to public service and community building in Israel.
