The action film Jailer 2, featuring superstar Rajinikanth, continues to demonstrate strong commercial performance seventeen days after its theatrical debut. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures, the movie has accumulated a total domestic revenue of 444.75 crore rupees. On its seventeenth day, the production recorded earnings of 9.35 crore rupees, contributing to a global gross collection of 790.85 crore rupees. The film is currently on track to surpass the 800 crore milestone. Released on October 15, 2026, the sequel features a cast including Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vidya Balan, and Mithun Chakraborty, with a musical score composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Rajinikanth returns to his role as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in this follow-up to the 2023 original.
