The Dhaka Metropolitan Police have taken retired Major General Golam Mahiuddin Chowdhury into custody regarding the destruction and looting of content creator Salman Muqtadir’s studio. The incident occurred at the New Gini Properties housing complex located in South Manikdi, Dhaka. Authorities from the Detective Branch apprehended the 66-year-old former military officer in the Segunbagicha area on Wednesday. This arrest brings the total number of individuals detained in connection with the case to seven. Furthermore, a local court has authorized a three-day remand period for three other suspects involved in the investigation concerning the unauthorized entry, physical assault, and property damage at the studio site.
