The National Center for Meteorology in Saudi Arabia has released its climate projections for the final quarter of 2026. Meteorologists anticipate that most areas of the Kingdom will receive precipitation levels exceeding historical averages throughout October and November. While rainfall is expected to normalize by December, temperatures across the nation are projected to remain up to 3°C above typical seasonal norms until the end of the year. Specifically, October forecasts suggest an 80% probability of increased rain along the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf coastlines. Several provinces, including Tabuk, Madinah, Asir, and Riyadh, are identified as areas that may experience moderate to heavy rainfall events during this period. These findings provide a comprehensive outlook for the Kingdom's weather patterns as it moves into the winter months.
