A 32-year-old Indian national, Sonik Archana Susheel, was ordered to pay a S$2,500 fine by a Singapore court after pleading guilty to outraging the modesty of a 20-year-old nightclub employee. The incident occurred on March 13 when the defendant, who had consumed alcohol at home before arriving at the venue, was dancing erratically. Prosecutors stated that as the victim walked past her, the defendant touched the worker's buttocks and pushed her stomach area. The entire encounter lasted less than five seconds. The case was brought to light following the victim's reaction to the unwanted physical contact, leading to legal proceedings against the defendant for her actions at the downtown nightspot.
