The Department of Public Works and Highways has announced that the southbound portion of EDSA, spanning from Boni Avenue to Guadalupe, will be accessible to motorists starting at 5 a.m. on Monday, November 2. Public Works Secretary Giovanni Lopez plans to personally inspect the site overnight to ensure the quality of the completed repairs. This project represents a significant advancement in the second phase of the broader EDSA rehabilitation initiative, which seeks to enhance road conditions and improve travel efficiency on the capital's primary artery. Recent maintenance activities also addressed segments near the NEPA Q-Mart Bus Station, the Kamuning Flyover, and the Shaw underpass. These improvements are intended to provide a more reliable and comfortable experience for both commuters and drivers navigating the busy thoroughfare.
