A 42-year-old woman in Texas has been charged with two counts of capital murder following the deaths of her two sons. Authorities in Ellis County arrived at a residence in Waxahachie during the early hours of October 1 after reports of a shooting. The 21-year-old son, Christopher Pitre, was pronounced dead at the scene, while his 15-year-old brother, Brian Pitre, succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a medical facility. The suspect, Colleen Lemmon, reportedly attempted to end her own life following the incident. While the father of the victims has publicly called for justice, investigators have not yet disclosed a motive for the killings. The case remains under active investigation by local law enforcement officials.
