A series of aerial assaults carried out by Houthi forces targeted civilian locations across the Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif on Monday. According to the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, the offensive involved the use of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. The strikes resulted in thirteen civilian injuries, ranging from minor to moderate, and caused physical destruction to two vehicles and seven residential properties. Major General Turki Al-Maliki, the coalition spokesperson, condemned the actions as a deliberate escalation against non-combatants and infrastructure. In response, the coalition has pledged to take firm measures to safeguard national sovereignty and protect the population, citing the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.
