Tilottama Municipality in Rupandehi has officially unveiled a new musical water fountain at Kunj Park, located in Kunjalapur, Ward 6. This installation, described as the first of its kind in Nepal designed for nighttime viewing, represents a significant investment of Rs 12.6 million by the local government. The project was inaugurated on Monday by Mayor Ram Krishna Khand and Deputy Mayor Jageshwari Devi Chaudhary. Situated on the western edge of a one-bigha pond within the seven-bigha park, the fountain synchronizes water movements with music and vibrant lighting effects. Local officials and project conceptualizer Lok Pun believe this addition will serve as a key attraction to enhance nighttime tourism in the region. The initiative is part of a broader effort by the municipality to develop local infrastructure and promote recreational spaces for the public.
