Officials from Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye convened in Tehran to deliberate on security matters across West Asia. Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stated that the participating nations reached a consensus regarding the necessity of managing regional stability internally, without the involvement of foreign powers. The discussions encompassed the current situation in Lebanon and Palestine, alongside concerns regarding Israeli activities in the area. Rezaei emphasized that the meeting signifies a commitment to enhanced regional cooperation, asserting that international pressure from the United States has failed to deter these diplomatic efforts. The dialogue marks a continued push among these four countries to foster peace and collective security through direct engagement.
