The United Arab Emirates national team has concluded its most successful Asian Games campaign to date, returning from Aichi-Nagoya with a total of 13 medals. This performance includes seven gold medals, marking a new national record and surpassing the previous high established during the Hangzhou Games three years ago. With this result, the UAE secured the 13th position in the overall medal standings among 45 participating countries. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, president of the UAE Olympic Committee, praised the athletes for their dedication and commitment to elevating the nation's sporting profile. He noted that these achievements are the culmination of extensive preparation and collaborative efforts between competitors, coaching staff, and support personnel.
