A man in his fifties received an eight-year prison sentence from the Ulsan District Court following a failed armed robbery attempt. The individual was found guilty of attempted murder and attempted aggravated robbery. During the incident, which occurred in April, the perpetrator confronted a woman in a parking lot with a firearm and attempted to restrain her. After the victim resisted, the suspect fled the scene. Authorities subsequently tracked him down, during which time he attempted to discharge the officer's own service weapon at them. The court finalized the sentencing this Thursday, concluding the legal proceedings regarding the violent confrontation.
