A multi-vehicle accident occurred on October 26 at the intersection of Jurong East Central and Boon Lay Way, involving five cars, a tipper truck, and an SBS Transit bus. Authorities were notified of the incident around 10:30 a.m. Three individuals, including a 78-year-old male driver, a 36-year-old female driver, and a 76-year-old female passenger, were transported to the hospital in a conscious state. Visual evidence from the scene revealed significant structural damage to two of the passenger vehicles involved. According to an SBS Transit representative, their bus was stopped at a red light when the collision took place. Local law enforcement is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
