The Uzbekistan national para-cycling team achieved a significant milestone at the recent World Championships, marking the country's first-ever gold medal victories in this competition. The event, which hosted nearly 300 participants from 47 nations, saw Uzbek athletes secure three gold medals and one silver. Marjona Pardaboyeva distinguished herself by winning her second world title in the T1 class. Additionally, Pokiza Ahmadbekova claimed a gold medal in the H1 individual time trial and a silver in the road race. These results represent the most successful performance by Uzbekistan in the history of the Para Cycling World Championships. Furthermore, at the 2025 competition held in Ronse, Belgium, from August 28 to 31, the national team also earned four silver medals and one bronze.
