The Nepalese Home Ministry has officially terminated the service of Armed Police Force Additional Inspector General Banshiraj Dahal. This decision follows a departmental inquiry into accusations that the high-ranking officer leaked confidential security data, thereby breaching professional conduct standards. Dahal had been under suspension since October 5 while an appointed inquiry officer examined the claims against him. The ministry confirmed that the dismissal, which was recommended by the Armed Police Force leadership, became effective on Friday. Officials stated that the government remains committed to strictly monitoring and addressing any breaches of official protocol within the security apparatus.
