Medical professionals at the Central City Clinical Hospital in Almaty performed an urgent operation on a young man suffering from a perforated stomach ulcer and peritonitis. The patient arrived at the facility experiencing acute abdominal pain. Clinical evaluations confirmed that the stomach wall had developed a hole, allowing gastric contents to leak into the abdominal cavity and trigger severe inflammation. According to the medical team, the patient had been consuming three to four cans of energy drinks daily over the course of several months. Surgeon Ilyas Sagiyev noted that such a perforation constitutes a life-threatening emergency necessitating immediate intervention. The surgical procedure involved repairing the gastric wall and sanitizing the abdominal area. Following the successful operation, the patient's health status has shown signs of recovery.
