A 52-year-old Australian national received a prison sentence of five months and six weeks, alongside a S$5,000 fine, following a series of aggressive actions toward Singapore Police Force officers. The incident occurred at Changi Airport Terminal 3 in July, where the man was transiting from Bali. After becoming agitated over medical costs following a prior injury, he engaged in disorderly conduct, which included spitting at officers, urinating in their vicinity, and threatening to throw excrement at them. Facing eight total charges, the defendant pleaded guilty to four counts, including the use of criminal force against public servants and violations of the Protection from Harassment Act. The court considered the remaining charges during the sentencing process on October 30.
