Emergency teams in Bangkok have successfully contained an oil leak discovered within the drainage network near Rama III Road. Local residents alerted officials to a potent fuel odor on September 7, leading to the identification of pollutants beneath the elevated roadway at the border of Khlong Toei and Yan Nawa districts. Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt inspected the affected site alongside representatives from the Department of Drainage and Sewerage and the Pollution Control Department. To mitigate environmental risks, workers deployed specialized absorbent booms to halt the spread of the substance and commenced extraction operations.
