The Joint Committee for Selecting Candidates for Officer and Other Ranks in Military Entities is actively working to increase the number of Qatari women serving in security and defense sectors. By offering targeted academic and vocational training, the initiative seeks to integrate more women into these professional fields. A key component of this effort is a technical diploma program developed by the Ministry of Defence in partnership with the University of Doha for Science and Technology. This curriculum, which holds official accreditation from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, is designed to equip female recruits with the necessary technical expertise to support the operational requirements of the national armed forces. These programs represent a broader strategic push to enhance the involvement of Qatari women across various military and security disciplines.
