Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) successfully prevented an attempt by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) to push seven individuals into Bangladeshi territory. The incident occurred at the Malkadanga border in Boda upazila, Panchagarh. According to Lieutenant Colonel Sarker Asif Mahmud of the Nilphamari 56 BGB Battalion, the group, consisting of six men and one woman, was intercepted by BGB patrols on Tuesday. Following the intervention, the individuals remained near the border area throughout the day. By midnight on Tuesday, the group returned to the Indian side through an unfenced section of the border. The BGB confirmed that the attempted entry was effectively blocked, ensuring the group did not cross into Bangladesh.
