Chakriwat Vivacharawongse, the 43-year-old son of King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand, is undergoing his second brain surgery today in Malaysia. The physician, who suffers from neurofibromatosis type 2, a genetic disorder characterized by the development of nerve tumors, shared his mixed emotions of relief and apprehension via social media prior to the procedure. He noted that this operation is currently the only viable method to manage his ongoing health challenges. Having previously undergone multiple surgeries related to his condition, he has requested that his partner provide updates regarding his recovery status while he is hospitalized.
