Aleksandar Vucic, the former president of Serbia, has officially conceded defeat following the results of the recent snap parliamentary elections. Independent polling data from Ipsos and CeSID indicate that the student-led movement, known as the "Student List – Students Win," secured 52 percent of the vote, effectively ending the 14-year political dominance of the Serbian Progressive Party. Vucic's coalition, "Aleksandar Vucic – United Serbia," trailed with 39.3 percent. Based on preliminary projections, the student-backed coalition is expected to hold between 135 and 140 seats in the 250-member parliament, while Vucic's group is projected to secure approximately 105 seats. Vucic addressed his supporters at his campaign headquarters in Belgrade to acknowledge the outcome before the final official tally was released.
