A 24-year-old Chinese national, Guan Si Qi, verbally confronted members of the media while leaving a courtroom in Malaysia. She is currently facing charges alongside three other Chinese nationals for the alleged abduction of a 72-year-old Singaporean man from Penang International Airport this past July. During the court proceedings on September 10, all four defendants entered pleas of not guilty. While the group initially attempted to conceal their identities from photographers by covering their faces or looking downward, Guan reacted to the proximity of the press by questioning their behavior and making remarks about her appearance. Following the hearing, the court denied bail for all four suspects involved in the kidnapping case. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing as the legal process continues for the accused individuals.
