A tourist from China visiting Singapore for the first time reported the theft of his Louis Vuitton bag at Gardens by the Bay on the evening of October 5. The victim, who noted his physical stature, attempted to track the item using wireless earbuds stored inside. While searching for the perpetrator near the exit, the man approached a stranger to ask for directions. The individual immediately fled, leading the tourist to identify him as the culprit. Although the victim successfully retrieved his bag, he reported that several items originally stored inside were missing. The incident was documented by the traveler on the social media platform Xiaohongshu.
