Lawyer Mohd Azlan Shah Mohd Allias, representing the 16-year-old student charged with the murder of classmate Irene Sofiya Mohd Khairool Faisal, has formally distanced his client's family from recent online claims. Speaking outside the Batu Pahat Magistrate’s Court, the attorney clarified that the accused's relatives have not issued any public statements, apologies, or digital communications since the investigation began. He specifically addressed and dismissed viral social media rumors suggesting that the family attempted to arrange a private meeting with the victim's relatives. The defence counsel cautioned the public against spreading unverified information, emphasizing that any such posts circulating online are fabricated and do not reflect the stance or actions of the accused's family.
