The Dubai Exhibition Centre, a division of the Dubai World Trade Centre, is undergoing a significant expansion project designed to accommodate 60,000 visitors daily. According to Amer Alfarsi, the Vice President of Real Estate Development at DWTC, the first stage of this development is scheduled for completion by September 2027, with the entire project expected to be finished by 2028. The comprehensive plan includes the addition of 100,000 square meters of service space, a new multi-level parking facility, and improved road infrastructure. A central feature of the upgrade is a new concourse intended to link exhibition halls, enabling the venue to host several events simultaneously. Currently, the construction process is approximately 10 percent complete, following the initial announcement of the three-phase expansion strategy earlier in 2024.
