The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has successfully concluded the development project for Oud Maitha Road and Al Asayel Street. This infrastructure initiative encompasses 14 kilometers of road improvements, including four modernized intersections along with various bridges and tunnels totaling 4.3 kilometers. These enhancements have boosted the hourly vehicle capacity of Oud Maitha Road by 50 percent, raising it from 10,400 to 15,600 vehicles. Consequently, motorists navigating through areas such as Al Jaddaf, Za’abeel, Umm Hurair, and Oud Maitha will experience a substantial reduction in travel duration, with commute times dropping from 20 minutes to just five minutes. This project aims to streamline traffic flow and improve connectivity between these vital residential and urban development zones.
