The Magistrate’s Court in Ipoh has granted a six-day remand order for eleven suspects, including six government employees and five agents, to facilitate an investigation into document forgery. The suspects, consisting of seven men and four women, were apprehended by the Perak Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) after reporting to the agency's office for questioning. Authorities allege that the group collaborated to submit falsified paperwork to illegally transfer the ownership of 16 vehicles. The investigation focuses on activities occurring in 2025, where agents reportedly worked with civil servants to bypass standard registration procedures. The remand period for the suspects is effective from September 9 until September 14, as the MACC continues its probe into the corruption and administrative malpractice allegations.
