European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has unveiled a financial aid package worth 200 million euros, equivalent to approximately 232 million dollars, designated for Greenland. This initiative, announced during her official visit to Nuuk on Monday, is intended to bolster collaborative efforts between the European Union and the territory. According to an official statement from the European Commission, the funding is part of the Global Gateway Partnership Package. These resources are scheduled to facilitate various investment projects throughout the current year and the upcoming year, aiming to strengthen the strategic ties and economic cooperation between the two regions.
