Nepali Congress Joint General Secretary Farmullah Mansoor recently stated that the party has undergone a significant transformation under the leadership of Gagan Thapa. Speaking at a Nepal Tarun Dal event, Mansoor noted that the party successfully adopted new policies and leadership following public dissatisfaction observed in late August. He highlighted that he previously advocated for Thapa to be presented as a primary candidate for Prime Minister and party President within the central working committee. According to Mansoor, the outcomes of the 15th general convention have solidified Thapa's position as a dependable leader and restored the party's credibility. Mansoor emphasized his commitment to the party and expressed his intention to play a vital role in executing the new agendas and programs established during the recent convention to ensure the long-term institutionalization of these reforms.
