AKM Eneyetul Karim, the father of former Bangladesh Air Force flight lieutenant KM Tahsif Souri, has formally initiated a murder investigation following the discovery of his son's body in the Turag River. The victim was found in the Uttarkhan area of Dhaka on Wednesday, one day after he had left his home following a phone call from an acquaintance. Mr. Karim has expressed strong skepticism regarding the possibility of accidental drowning, noting that his son was a skilled swimmer. Furthermore, he questioned the circumstances surrounding the disappearance, dismissing the likelihood that his son would have fled from any pursuers. Consequently, a case has been registered at the Uttarkhan police station against unknown individuals, with the family alleging that the victim was killed and his remains disposed of in the river to hide evidence of the incident.
