In a written judgment, Justice Aamir Farooq emphasized that while the Constitution protects religious freedom, such rights remain constrained by legal frameworks, public morality, and state policy. The court noted that the petitioner failed to provide the necessary documentation or evidence required to challenge the forfeiture of these materials under the Code of Criminal Procedure and existing ordinances. Consequently, the judiciary declined to intervene further, citing the petitioner's inability to pursue the correct legal channels to present their case effectively. This decision effectively upholds the existing restrictions on the distribution of the contested religious texts within the region.
