The Yemeni Armed Forces have conducted a series of drone and ballistic missile attacks targeting Saudi Arabian economic and military infrastructure, including Aramco facilities and the King Khalid Air Base. This operation, described as a response to a three-day Saudi aerial campaign, targeted sites in Abha, Najran, and Jizan. Yemeni officials stated these strikes were a direct retaliation for over 120 Saudi airstrikes across five provinces, which reportedly included a deadly attack on a prison in Al-Jawf. The Sana’a government labeled the Saudi actions as war crimes and a violation of international law. Yemeni leadership emphasized that these retaliatory measures will continue as long as the Saudi-led blockade persists, asserting their right to defend national sovereignty against foreign military intervention. The escalation marks a significant intensification in the ongoing regional conflict.
