Emergency responders deployed seven firefighting teams to combat a significant fire that broke out along the Yarkon River in Ramat Gan. The flames extended across both sides of the riverbank, posing a direct threat to nearby infrastructure, including the local stadium area. Due to the proximity of the fire to the railway lines, authorities were forced to suspend train operations as a safety precaution. The service remained halted until crews successfully brought the situation under control and ensured the area was safe for transit. No injuries were reported, and normal rail operations resumed once the fire was fully extinguished.
