A residential unit located on Guillemard Road in Geylang has become the subject of an investigation after neighbors reported suspicious activity. Residents observed a woman frequently escorting various men into the apartment, prompting concerns that the premises were being utilized for illicit sex work. The property agent, Lim Yao Hui, stated that the tenant, a Singapore permanent resident in his thirties, had moved into the unit in early September. Following complaints from neighbors, the landlord attempted to arrange an inspection of the property. The tenant subsequently vacated the premises abruptly, leaving behind items including lubricants and condoms. The agent noted that the initial rental process appeared standard and raised no immediate red flags before the reports of frequent visitors surfaced ten days into the lease agreement.
