Hong Kong is actively developing a continuous investment strategy focused on the Middle East and North Africa. Sophia Chong, executive director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, confirmed that the initiative aligns with the China-led Belt and Road Initiative. The strategy targets six primary sectors, including finance, professional services, supply chain management, digital technology, wellness, and creative industries. These efforts are designed to strengthen existing economic ties and foster growth in high-potential industries. Announced during the 11th Belt and Road Summit, the plan reflects Hong Kong's long-term commitment to deepening its commercial footprint in the region through new projects and expanded trade infrastructure.
