The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has formally criticized recent United States measures that target Iran's international trade and aviation connectivity. Tehran characterized these American actions as both unlawful and inhumane, arguing that they are specifically designed to impede Iran's ability to maintain air transport links with neighboring nations. In light of these developments, Iranian officials have publicly urged the Iraqi government to implement suitable measures to counter these American efforts to limit flight operations. Tehran maintains that such restrictions are detrimental to regional cooperation and expects Baghdad to take a firm stance in response to the pressure exerted by Washington on international transit routes.
