The intelligence department of Sistan and Baluchestan province announced the successful neutralization of four terrorist groups operating within the central and southern regions. Security operations led to the detention of 16 individuals, including several foreign nationals. Authorities stated that these groups maintained connections with foreign adversaries. The detainees are allegedly linked to the killing of police officers in Iranshahr and have been transferred to the judicial system. During the raids, security forces confiscated a significant cache of weaponry, comprising nine Kalashnikov rifles, seven pistols, and two M4 rifles. Additionally, intelligence officials reported the separate arrest of three individuals accused of espionage for collecting data on regional security and defense infrastructure. These actions follow ongoing monitoring and collaboration between various security agencies and local public reports.
