The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has detained an individual named Dwip regarding the death of KM Tahsif Souri, a 28-year-old former Air Force officer. Authorities apprehended Dwip in the Mohammadpur district of Dhaka on Thursday night. According to PBI Superintendent Md Abu Yusuf, the detainee was with the victim on the night preceding the incident, which occurred after Tahsif departed his residence in Uttara on Tuesday evening. Investigators intend to interrogate Dwip to clarify the events leading up to the discovery of the former officer's body in the Turag River. The information obtained during this questioning will be subject to verification as part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding Tahsif's death.
