The National Public Diplomacy Directorate has officially honored the creators of the documentary film "NAZA, The True Story." During a ceremony held on October 8, 2026, Tzipi Hotovely presented certificates of appreciation to filmmakers Ariel Orbuch, Roy Danino, and Hagai Gutman. Hotovely commended the production for its efforts to highlight the ethical conduct of the Israel Defense Forces and for providing a counter-narrative to claims made in a documentary by Yuval Abraham. The government official characterized the film as a necessary response to what she described as falsehoods and defamatory allegations directed against the state of Israel.
