Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida have successfully completed the necessary proficiency examinations to maintain their Boeing 737 pilot certifications. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), the royal couple met all regulatory standards for aircraft type ratings spanning the Boeing 737-300 through 900 series. Furthermore, their credentials now include renewed Instrument Rating and Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) authorizations. These evaluations were conducted in compliance with CAAT Regulation No. 45, which governs the issuance and maintenance of aviation personnel licenses. By passing these periodic assessments, the King and Queen remain qualified to operate these specific aircraft models under current national aviation safety protocols.
