A video recording featuring a telephone exchange between Md Mohsin, vice-president of the Cumilla City Jatiotabadi Chatra Dal (JCD), and Imran Hossain, known as Ratan, has emerged online. The two-minute audio clip captures the pair discussing recent media coverage regarding Ratan’s participation in political processions organized by the JCD and Jubo Dal. Although Ratan’s face is not visible in the footage, the conversation confirms his involvement in these events. Mohsin acknowledged the authenticity of the call, stating it occurred last Saturday following public scrutiny over the presence of a known teen gang leader at his political rallies. The incident has sparked significant controversy regarding the association between student political wings and local criminal elements in the region.
