A 52-year-old farmer was killed in a shooting incident in Teluk Bunut, Banting, late Tuesday night. Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar stated that the victim was discovered deceased between 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm outside a property rented by his child. Authorities were alerted to the crime shortly after 11:00 pm. Although the house was vacant at the time of the shooting, investigators believe the man was visiting the site to inspect the premises. Law enforcement officials noted that the lack of eyewitnesses and the absence of a weapon at the scene have presented challenges to the ongoing investigation. Nevertheless, police have identified potential suspects connected to the case and have taken a man in his 20s or 30s into custody for questioning.
