Indian customs officials apprehended a Malaysian woman at Indira Gandhi International Airport on September 4 for allegedly trafficking narcotics. The suspect arrived in Delhi on flight OD-205 from Kuala Lumpur and was stopped at Terminal 3 following a targeted security check. Upon inspecting her luggage, authorities uncovered 30 plastic bags containing over 15 kilograms of cannabis, with an estimated street value of RM2.2 million. The individual was taken into custody under the provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1985. Officials have seized the illicit substances as part of an ongoing investigation into the smuggling attempt.
