Manila Mayor Francisco Domagoso has released the official guidelines and operational hours for the city's North and South cemeteries in preparation for the 2026 Undas period. According to the mayor, interment services at both locations will be temporarily halted beginning October 29, with regular burial operations scheduled to recommence on November 3. During the observance period from October 29 through November 2, the Manila North Cemetery will welcome visitors between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily. Furthermore, the local government has implemented a vehicle ban within the North Cemetery premises for the duration of these dates to manage traffic and ensure public safety. The mayor emphasized these measures during a recent public broadcast to assist residents in planning their cemetery visits effectively.
