The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that Nepal will experience widespread cloud cover throughout the day. Heavy precipitation is anticipated in specific hilly and Tarai areas across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, along with parts of Madhesh Province. Furthermore, the high-altitude Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim are expected to see moderate rainfall or snowfall, frequently accompanied by lightning and thunder. Similar weather conditions, characterized by moderate rain and electrical activity, are forecasted for numerous hilly locations across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, with Sudurpaschim also seeing scattered activity. Residents in these regions are advised to remain cautious due to the potential for adverse weather conditions.
