A fire erupted at an Apex footwear retail location situated in the Dhanmondi district of Dhaka on Thursday morning. Emergency responders from the Fire Service and Civil Defence were alerted to the incident at approximately 10:05 am. Personnel arrived at the scene ten minutes later to initiate suppression efforts. Four firefighting units dispatched from the Mohammadpur station were deployed to manage the situation. According to officials from the fire service media cell, the blaze has since been brought under control. No further details regarding the cause of the fire or potential damages have been released at this time.
