While the Dashain festival typically centers on family gatherings and celebrations for the people of Nepal, the nation's athletes are currently maintaining a rigorous schedule of international engagements. Competitors across diverse disciplines, including cricket, tennis, handball, esports, and para-sports, are actively representing the country abroad during this holiday season. Notably, the national cricket team recently achieved a significant ten-run victory against Oman in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. This win, which concluded their campaign, has bolstered Nepal's standing and improved their prospects of preserving One Day International status. Beyond these ongoing international commitments, domestic attention is also shifting toward the upcoming third edition of the Nepal Premier League, which is scheduled to commence in the following week.
