The National Tea and Coffee Development Board, in partnership with the Food Technology and Quality Control Division Office and the Jhapa District Administration, is working to establish a specialized tea testing facility in Bhadrapur. This initiative aims to standardize the quality of tea produced in the region and protect the reputation of Nepali tea brands. By implementing rigorous testing protocols, authorities hope to ensure that products meet consistent standards, thereby strengthening the market position of local tea growers and processors both domestically and internationally.
