The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, alongside nations including the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain, has formally denounced a drone assault directed at a power distribution plant in Madinah. The Saudi-led coalition identified Houthi rebels as the perpetrators behind the strike on the Taiba electricity station, which supplies energy to the Prophet's Mosque. In its official statement, the OIC Secretariat characterized the incident as a severe escalation and a clear infringement upon the sanctity of religious sites, as well as a breach of international humanitarian standards. The organization reiterated its support for Saudi Arabia’s efforts to maintain national security and protect its critical infrastructure from such hostile actions.
